I saw a need. I saw there just wasn't anything out there green friendly for how to take care of your home, the space you occupy a lot of your time. Not that I am any expert, I am just learning with everyone else, and applying some common sense.
I saw that young women, men, and a lot of us didn't know how to clean the old fashion way these days. Using gentle soaps and products you find in the kitchen, like white vinegar or baking soda. We usually will just run out and buy the strongest, most harsh commercial cleaners we can find on the shelf for the job. These products may take away the dirt, but leave something else behind? We usually don't stop to think about the vapors, irritation of the eyes, nose, throat, or skin and the harm that they could be doing.
When I learned there was another way to clean, it really changed my life and I wanted to tell others about it. To help others and let them know there is a safer, better way. And as an extra bonus, it can save you some money too.
I commit to using less-toxic cleaners and it helped a lot. When a job requires a certain toxic cleaner, I wear a mask and glasses.
OPEN A WINDOW!
While keeping your house clean does reduce some amounts of exposure to dust, germs, mildew, and mold you have to use "some caution".
When you can, GO GREEN!
If you would like to learn more or share your tips with us, I've made several products that work for me. You can see them by visiting http://www.gogreenletsclean.com.
Thanks.
